People don’t usually want to talk about what they want, and every time you say “we want to change the world”, you end up putting your head in the sand. You have to do something more than just talking about it – you have to show people how they can get involved.
That’s why we are publishing this article. This is your chance to tell us what you want and help us tell the world that our vikreta portal was built by good people who care passionately about making a difference in people’s lives.

3. What is Vikreta?

A few years ago, I was asked to give a talk on the Vikreta project at a hackathon in Berlin. The topic was “What is Vikreta?” — and I wanted to answer it.
This is what I came up with:

Vikreta is a social network where you can build communities of your friends and people you know. It’s like Facebook, but with fewer features that are not as useful or popular. It’s also not like Instagram, Twitter, or Pinterest; it isn’t about “sharing” photos or videos; it’s about building communities.
It is an experiment in using technology to address social needs that have historically been neglected or ignored: friendships, relationships, and community building. And it started as a conversation between my friend Joost van Leeuw and me…
I had just participated in an experiment where I built a decentralized social network for my own use: A simple chat app for one of my friends in which we could chat with each other but also with people we didn’t know yet (but we’re interested in). What if this chat app could become something more than just a chat app? What if we could build things together? What if we could connect strangers into communities? And what if this could only happen once — once there was an agreement between the user and the service provider that they would help each other out (like they might do on Facebook or Twitter)?
The idea grew into something much bigger than I expected: The idea of connecting strangers into communities through some kind of peer-to-peer communication — something that used the power of computers to create new kinds of relationships between strangers without requiring any kind of centralized authority and without having to pay anybody (like our current social networks). We started by building an app that allowed people to sign up for open groups which they could browse through until they found someone who was interested in joining them. For example, there might be some groups for playing video games, some for sports and so forth — in which case you would be able to join these groups by just browsing through them until you found someone who had the same interests (and common friends) as you did. You could go from browsing through groups to joining them by just clicking on their name… then clicking on “join!” One day someone decided he wanted to start his own group… even though he didn’t know anyone else who

We’re focused on getting our website built as quickly and painlessly as possible, and then we’ll move into adding features as they become available (say, 10 years from now).

6. Community Support on Dribbble and Behance

Last month I published a blog post on how to use Dribbble and Behance effectively to get the word out about your product. It was quite popular and received a lot of positive feedback.
This is my follow-up post, in which I’d like to share some tips and tricks every developer should know about using Dribbble & Behance.
The reason why I wanted to put this out there is that it’s really hard to stay on top of all these things.
I do not want this post to be an instruction manual you should follow (because you will get other people telling you how you should use one of those tools), but instead, I want to provide simple tips that anyone can implement easily.
It took me a while before I could get the hang of Dribbble & Behance (and yes, the same goes for Behance), but once I did, I found it very easy to make it work for my site. Here are a few tips which have helped me:

1) It’s important not to have your whole website dedicated to Dribbble & Behance (especially if you plan on monetizing it). At least dedicate one section at the bottom of your webpage where you highlight the products or services people can buy from you. This way people who are interested in what you are offering can find out more information without having to click through your entire website or uselessly scroll down through pages after pages of content. If we do that right, people will most definitely come back again and again for further information and advice about our products or services — which is exactly what we want!
2) Be specific about what thoughts & ideas go into creating each design (websites usually contain too many pictures that don’t help). Also, be sure not only are your designs engaging but informative as well: they should help users understand your product better by showing them examples or examples of other similar products (see point 2 above). Designers also need to make sure they show their design in multiple formats so that users can see them on different devices (e.g., mobile vs desktop). This goes hand in hand with point 1.) above. For example, if I wanted my website design to look different depending on whether or not there was audio/video available when viewing it: any good designer knows how important this is!

7. Pricing and

If you have a product that does something useful but not very well, you can do a lot of harm for the product and for you by charging too much for it. If one of your customers is someone who would be better served by your product, you will have an incentive to charge them more than they are worth.
A good example of this is the popular “pay-as-you-go” service called vikreta (which is pronounced “vee-Kree-the”). They are one of the most popular messaging services on iOS and Android, with millions of users and millions of messages sent each day.
The proof is in their pudding: vikreta has been doing relatively well for a service without much marketing or support from its developers. It was created by a single person with no outside funding (though he did use some money from his savings), grew slowly, and was finally shut down by its creator in 2015. That’s because it was not able to raise sufficient money before it went out of business.
We should probably say something similar about our company: we are a small company that has been running since 2009 with no external funding either! And yet we recently had to close out our business because we weren’t able to get enough money in the bank in order to keep up with our growing demand.
